Prof. Phineas G. Malaprop's Phantasmagorical Emporium

Welcome to Prof. Phineas G. Malaprop's Phantasmagorical Emporium, your gateway into the fantastic worlds of Steampunk. What is Steampunk you may ask? I will tell you.

I don't know.

Steampunk is many things to many people. It is science fiction from years gone by; as from the stories of Jules Verne and H. G. Wells. It is the gothic horror of Mary Shelly's Frankenstein, while at the same time the gaslamp romance of Girl Genius.

However you look at it, Steampunk is history that never was from a much more elegant time. It is a time where complex clockwork automatons walk the earth while majestic airships rule the skies.

Be that as it may, the Professor resides in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he launches his forays into the Aether. While there, he seeks out like-minded individuals who might help him on his further educational pursuits. He has extensive knowledge in the realms of metaphysics, parapsychology and non-Euclidean philosophy. If you ever find a copy of his doctoral dissertation on total world domination, it is definitely an inspiring treatise that you must read... then burn it.

Probably my favorite musical rendition of any story would be "Jeff Wayne's Musical Version of the War of the Worlds."

"I would venture to warn against too great intimacy with artists as it is very seductive and a little dangerous."
